Harbinger 1 VFVSS (#37) Auction

Post by svair »

Within the next few days I will be auctioning off the Harbinger #1 VFVSS
Auction copy. The number is 37 and was Trent Collins number on the past VFVSS projects...The project comes with a copy of Harbinger 1 signed by Jim Shooter, Janet Jackson and Bob Layton..a DVD (can only be played on windows media player) of the first East Coast Valiant/Acclaim re-union panel, which was filmed in New York last Mar/Apr...a transcript of the second day of the panel which was not filmed...and an 11x18 print by Sean Chen, Anthony Castrillo and Stu Suchit...(Thanks Guys!!!) ...re-creating the unpublished cover to Harbinger 1...

this will be the first of many auctions being held for Trent's family...I will be selling many books from his collection, all the proceeds will be collected by me and sent to his wife, Judy.

I believe his penguin set will also be for sale.

For all the newbies...Trent was a great friend and contributor to this board..his recent passing a few months ago shocked us all...

Here is a link to the original sign-up for pics

Any questions????...please feel free to ask...

Hey Guys...

the link was really just so you can see some pics...

there are no restrictions on this....

I think I may put it up on ebay for more exposure....not sure yet...as I think Trent would really want one of "us" to have it...

But I need to think about his family...so I'm a bit undecided as of yet...

I should note, I will be including a "Memoriam" book which was given out when Trent passed...it has a picture of him, pictures of some of his favorite books...and the Bloodshot artwork he used for his Bloodshot project.....

any questions please ask me....

I'll be in for sure. eBay is easily the best choice because you definitely will get everyone from here involved in addition to the rest of the world.
SELL ME YOUR VfVSS and VVSS!!
Seriously looking for the goods on these!

I agree, it would be nice to see a board member get it, but I think ebay would get the most for Trent's family.

I would think that anybody interested in VfVSS editions would probably be tuned in here, don't you?

I think ebay is great, but you could probably save the fees and get just as much with a board auction with this book.

Agreed. There are enough genereous people here to get you the best price. I'd be surprised if one of the boardmembers let it go outside the board. :thumb:
