Wait for a photo, dude.

No offense to thehunted, but when a brand new user shows up just to sell the single rarest and most valuable Valiant issue of all time, some proof should be expected.

Hey, what are fellow vc.comer's for? ;)

Besides, I'd never shell out the kind of money it goes for.

Well welcome to the site.

An intern at Valiant. Pretty darn cool. We'd love to hear your stories.

As for certifying, you'll want to look here: http://www.cgccomics.com/

Obviously, you can't get it certified by Monday, but I'd recommend grading it with Overstreet criteria and selling it through a reputable go between. Perhaps, once you agree upon a price with a seller, do a private auction on ebay, just so you're both backed by fraud protection.

ummm...dude, that bloodshot #0 platinum...see, it's...uh...worthless.
yea. that's it.

totally worthless.

but since you're new and all i supposed i could do you a favor and take it off your hands for one dollar.

i'd hate to see you saddled with a book like that...did i mention it's worthless? so give me your address and i'll overnight your dollar to you and giggle like a madman...i mean, weep because you had to deal with a bloodshot platinum.

no? oh well...can't blame a brother for trying!

Still pretty exciting. I'm sure you got to rub shoulders with some of our big heroes around here. When did you come on board, and how long were you there?

Oh, and incidentally, what other Valiant items do you have for sale?

You know, if they gave you a Bloodshot platinum, they may have been passing off production errors on you and other staff members ("well this batch is ruined. Might as well give them to the staff"). We know of Bloodshot Platinum only because a few accidentally made it to local comic stores, but you may have some other errors in your possession that we've never heard of.

Nice gig. On Valiant art I have noticed written comments to production , and sometimes answers from production. It's a part of the process that I would love to learn more about. What happened to the art between painting and printing? Like, who added the color of logos, when photos were used as background images, when were those added? Also, what happened between ink and coloring? When panels are moved around, resized or inverted, who did that? And what is done in corrections?

Thanks for any answers you can give,

Magnus

PS, both for the Bloodshot and other items you find, I would to bid. Please let us know what kind of process you decide on.

CEARs

Post by soundoftheuniverse »

There was a member last year who came on offering 2 Bloodshot Plat's and he wanted CEAR's in exchange. I was one of the first to respond to the post but by the time he responded to my PM they were gone. So what I want to know is:

Who got em?!? Please reveal yourselves!

It didn't make sense why he was trading a minimum $400 book for a $100 CEAR and I just want to know if he was legit and which board members got lucky.
