Parts Unknown Convention in Greensboro, NC

Post by Todd Luck »

The Parts Unknown covention in Greensboro, NC is scheaduled for Saturday December 2. Mysteriously there's no more information about it yet (which is unusual, usually there's a tentive guest list being circulated six monthes in advance).

The hours last year were 10 am to 5 pm with $5 for admission. There's always a great selection of comics and retailers (walked out last year with 75 comics I got for $25) and they have a small (but good) number of guests (Tommy Lee Edwards, etc).

I'll have to ask what's up with the lack of advance info but here's where it'll be posted when they do put it up...

Some people spend their whole lives believing in fairy tales, usually because they don't want to give up the fabulous prizes.

They must have read my mind because now their site is updated with information on the convention (location, a confirmed time, the beginnings of a guest list, etc).

I don't know about variants because I have no interest in those but there was a nice selection of the normal issues. Of course, retailers vary from year to year but there's always been a nice variety of cheap (and expensive) comics from various publishers and eras there so far.
