I think a complete Armstrong Ale is worth around $40. That would be a still sealed bottle, the shipping box, & the Christmas card. The Christmas cards are actually the toughest part to get... Darque Brew holds about the same value.
A sealed bottle by itself is ~$20.
An empty bottle has pretty much no value by me. Hope that helps... ~Pete

Armstrong Ale
After watching auctions for about a year go for $25 - $50 + shipping, I nabbed one on ebay a few years back for about $15 shipped, didn't have the card or the original shipping box with it.
They still turn up on there periodically, just have to be patient and you can get a good deal!
Maybe you could offer to trade him a case of Bud for it!
On that note, has anyone ever heard if the beer was actually any good? Even though I got my Darque Brew direct from Valiant and it was fresh, I didn't want to open mine.
Always kinda figured it was probably pretty cheap beer.......
