A red statue of liberty?!
At first glance yea, but it's not holding the usual torch. It's holding the hammer and sickle, from the Soviet Union Flag, which is derived from the Russian Revolution, and an International symbol of the communist movement. So, maybe Divinity, plans to spread those ideals, worldwide. I know, *SQUEE* guess but, nothing else to go by at the moment, lol
Now if that were enacted as a story, it could be very interesting given how difficult he would be to stop. :)
Wait a minute... are you saying the guy named "Divinity" is actually a black foreigner who has come to spread communism across the world by taking power in the U.S.A. like some kind of anti-christ? :hm:

Abram = Abrama = Obrama = Obama :o :o :o

Now where's that Conspiracy Thread?!? :kidaround:
I don't know about conspiracy or allusions to President Obama, but that is a story that could be told with all the pieces in place, and could be interesting. With Divinity/Abram's power levels, I hope they make him more than an abstracted cipher (I am not saying he is, but the nearest parallel I can think of right now is Dr. Manhattan, who in some way behaved in that way), and give his story a beginning (which we are seeing), middle, and end. :)
VEI - I look forward to you one day publishing MORE than 9-10 books per month

I don't mind that Unity is in this series. It's a fine way to bring him into the valiant universe. A better way may have been a last page at the end of issue 4 showing the Unity team catching wind of him, but then that gives the appearance of preparing for him and an impending struggle.

Hopefully, he can get rid of the Unity team in issue 4 and the next mini can be solely about him. This has been a pretty cool mini so far..... Even though I don't really know what's going on.

Here's a link to a review of #2, follow the link, scroll to bottom of screen, read the review for #1 first, then proceed to #2, then #3, you'll walk away with a better understanding, which will make the re-read, so much better. Loving what Kindt is doing with this character, I can't wait to see how he wraps this mini up, and what big plans Valiant has coming up for Divinity.

I logged in to my DCBS account and saw Divinity #4 sitting in my next shipment. I wish I had it now instead of in 2 weeks :(
Alone, listless, breakfast table in an otherwise empty room.
