I'm sorry, but allowing an imperfect book based on a possible manufacturing concern is *SQUEE* to me. The whole point of grades is removing subjectivity, a book has assigned values according to strict criteria. Where does the line end when you head down that path? This will have long-term repercussions for CGC.

Well, I didn't realize until yesterday CGC now stopped utilizing three graders for every book processed, and now uses two. So there is no tie-breaker vote to ensure an average assessment of a book is given.
I guess with the massive backlog they have been dealing with over the months, they decided to spread out their resources. But I wonder if this is having an impact on the quality of the final product.
