I'm sorry, but allowing an imperfect book based on a possible manufacturing concern is *SQUEE* to me. The whole point of grades is removing subjectivity, a book has assigned values according to strict criteria. Where does the line end when you head down that path? This will have long-term repercussions for CGC.

Well, I didn't realize until yesterday CGC now stopped utilizing three graders for every book processed, and now uses two. So there is no tie-breaker vote to ensure an average assessment of a book is given.

I guess with the massive backlog they have been dealing with over the months, they decided to spread out their resources. But I wonder if this is having an impact on the quality of the final product.

That ain't good. Next thing you know they'll bring on that guy from PGX.
They probably should as a cautionary tale or feature him as "Goofus" in a series of inspirational posters for their employees.
