Ah, If I only had two of ya in the field 'back in the day', we would be fighting a different... cooler war.
I spent entire months living out of a tent. I can go camping but I don't like it anymore. And I appreciate that rough men do violence on my behalf so I don't have to go camping.

When the legally blind guy posted that he was in a coma and would like boardies to send him free comics to read it did kinda send up a red flag or two.betterthanezra wrote:Good CallX-O HoboJoe wrote:Might also want to avoid asthmatic rock-climbing at night. Especially if you're legally blind.![]()

Any chance of more hardcover collections next year? Been reading the Harbinger one and it's wonderful.

I think this is a great idea even if no new material is added. Also, if new floppies are in the pipeline anyway, no need wasting resources expanding on the reprinted material in the hardcover. Print them as previews for the new comics if they are just being viewed as advertising for the return of Valiant.

Anyone else already tired of seeing all of MOTA's comments on their Facebook page? Good Lord. That dude alone may drive off all the fans from their page.

I actually enjoy talking with him... his opinions are strong and one-sided, but when he has a point, it's a good one. He and I have had a few "back and forth" moments, but I just look at them as good debate.400yrs wrote:Anyone else already tired of seeing all of MOTA's comments on their Facebook page? Good Lord. The latest has been the "When the future date should be"... I like his idea of "changing how they perceive dates", but I still like my "changing it to the Harbinger Wars date" better.

I more of the mind of VEI just making good comic books that I enjoy reading.

MOTA gives me a headache and turns me off.

Yeah, that's Man of the Atom (Michael Sacal). His FB thread domination sucks. And unfortunately, there's no ignore that I know of on FB.Jay Tomio wrote:Sacal (or whoever) is kind of an FB thread drag.
Therefore, I tend to ignore everything posted in there.
Just sayin'

But...
same, I don't follow it anymore. It's just kind of a buzz kill.

I'm sure some will see it as passive-agressiveness, but if his presence on the FB page will drive people away, he'd rather not do it.david_albuq wrote:xodacia81 wrote:For those interested, MOTA has announced he is no longer going to post on the FB page for VEI.What drove him away?

Where did he announce that? Eh. Never mind. I don't really care.

Re: Interesting posts from VEI on Facebook
I really didn't see him as being a problem on the VEI page. I enjoyed most of his posts, I can't think of any moments where he crossed a line on there. I'm actually disappointed... is that weird?xodacia81 wrote:I'm sure some will see it as passive-agressiveness, but if his presence on the FB page will drive people away, he'd rather not do it.david_albuq wrote:xodacia81 wrote:For those interested, MOTA has announced he is no longer going to post on the FB page for VEI.What drove him away?

Where did he announce it at?
