How about Amazing Spider-man #299 vs. #300?
Eternal Warrior #4 is Hulk #180, ASM #299...
Rai #0 is Hulk #181 and ASM #300.

I feel .25 is too much for Turok #1, Rai #9 and Magnus #25, but I have no problem paying .25 for Bloodshot #1. I'm not sure why that is...Chiclo wrote:25 cents is a little generous.Brother J wrote:They might go up in value from .25 to .50!iggy101us wrote:Should we start hoarding Bloodshot #1's due to the (possible) hype?

There are 30,000 less copies of EW #4 than Rai #0, though. It's rare in comparison...

That's all you have to say about comparing Eternal Warrior 4 and Rai 0 to these other books?
I am disappointed.

Here's the first.....
"Back in the day", EW #5 was considered the TRUE first appearance of BS.
Now, granted, he appears in "flashback" in Rai #0, which came out between the books....
But....back in the day, it really was EW #5 that was important (though EW #4 was no slouch.)
Both books ended up being $15-$20 books by summer of 1993.
I know, right...?

Pink Floyd, Wish You Were Here. It is a song about one of the ex-band mates that killed himself.

EW #4 and #5, along with Rai #0, were "the last" really "key" books that Valiant made. Oh, sure, there was the flash in the pan Solar #14 and #15 (same time), and X-O #14 and 15, but EW #4, 5, and Rai #0 were the last ones that made a huge splash and stayed valuable for quite some time (almost a year.)
Shadowman #8, as much as I love it, didn't quite manage that, and came out at the same time.

They actually are before my time too, but the illicit drug scene in college man.... far out.
I've never done a single illicit drug in my life. Had PLENTY of opportunities to (I'm a California boy, of course)....but never chose to.
Unless you count being in the same room as pot smokers....

It's the one vice I can stand before God and say I was clean on.

The other stuff, though....oy vey.....
