yeah, I don't see it going up much more than it is now actually.
I don't know a whole lot about the CGC Market or the state of Bone as a viable collectable comicbook, but I see this as one of those things where this person will NEVER get back what they have invested in this collection by a long-shot.

Oh, now with THIS I disagree. It will just take a few years. Bone was one of the biggest hits of the 90's, it had a good, solid run, and will be FONDLY remembered around.....oh, 2021 or so.......Tim Petty wrote:yeah, I don't see it going up much more than it is now actually.

I do notice that Bone is getting some main-steam attention lately with Scholastic and possibly Disney.ZephyrWasHOT!! wrote:Oh, now with THIS I disagree. It will just take a few years. So Bone will be in the public eye for the foreseeable future.
Whether that helps his auction or not....

I remembered Disney tried to buy the entire Bone property from Jeff.jedimarley wrote:I do notice that Bone is getting some main-steam attention lately with Scholastic and possibly Disney.ZephyrWasHOT!! wrote:Oh, now with THIS I disagree. Jeff turned it down as he didn't agree / like the way on how Disney plans to bring it mainstream.

It was just overload. How many Bone collectors could afford something like this? Not many. Too much good stuff, all in one place.Second_Death wrote:I'm surprised this auction didn't finish much higher considering the popularity of this series. For comparison, early last year I sold 2 raw sets of Bone #1-13 (all in solid 9.2-9.6 range) for $1250 shipped.
Besides....the guy wanted a ridiculous amount as a reserve.
