The Crusaders one is very overblown, camp (like 60's Batman TV camp) and silly, but fun. The Shield features some classic 40's stories and I would stronmgly recommend both (although I am only halfway through Shield and the Fly). Still making my mind up on the Fly.
You mean like 'oh hey, I was in an LCS and just found these three TPBs ? How much were they ?

I got them through an amazon susidiary seller (comicsnow), rather than LCS because I have been pretty housebound for the last month or two, which is why I have been buying so many DU books via ebay to give me something to do. I reckon I have read or re-read circa 500 comic books in the past couple of months alone.

Anyway, the books were about $26-27 USD for three books combined (there are only three), with each having $12.95 rrp. The dispatch from the US to the UK was really quick and the books came in great condition. You might be able to findbetter deals through the various Amazon marketplace sellers. Archie themselves had these books on sale a couple of weeks ago as well, and still may do.
VEI - I look forward to you one day publishing MORE than 9-10 books per month

Hope the time passes quickly. :thumb:

18 Red Circle books arrived, along with (hopefully) what is the last of my Impact needs. And a few more VALIANTS. I don't think I buy any non-DU back issues at times...

The RC books that arrived included a couple of Fly's, the 2 Comet books, Black hood, most of the Mighty Crusaders run and a couple of Blue Ribbon. Happy times.

I am going to go after The Shield, The Fly and Blue Ribbon Comics first.... or maybe replace that last one with The Mighty Crusaders. Odd seeing the Blue Beetle in there.

I may have a couple of dupes soon, so let me know what you are working toward and I'll send them to you if any help.

Blue Ribbon is more like a spotlight book, with some reprints thrown in as well.
