That wasn't a one-time fluke either. I put my copy up with a $24.99 BIN and it sold in a couple of hours. Guess I should have asked $29.99!

I called a local store, they have not even opened up yet. they told me they are sold out! Before the store even opened.

I was out within an hour.

The problem here doesn't lie with the shops, it's because of DC.

Retailers weren't given a heads up about what was happening in Batman Inc #8 other than "it's a big deal blah blah blah" and how many hundreds of times have we heard that in the past and it turns out to be nothing? Heck, look at the end of Death of the Family, that was touted as a big deal and I felt it was extremely lackluster. Where is the retailer's incentive to order extra copies? My sales numbers on the title have also been slowly trending downward since issue #5, so why am I going to make a huge leap in orders when my sales don't justify it?

And when it finally was announced what was happening, Diamond was already out of stock, so retailers couldn't get more copies if they wanted. Sure, it looks good for DC to be "sold out" and create hype, but it makes retailers look like a bunch of *SQUEE* because they don't have product to sell.

All-New X-Men 3 is pricey. I somehow stumbled upon that and sold through 15 copies at around 8 bucks each, and have been out for a few weeks. I hadn't noticed 5 going for bank like that, but I wouldn't be surprised if it is. Haven't followed Nowhere Men prices at all, so I won't comment on those.

My LCS had about 5 of each of the 10 issues so I got all #3 and #5s and a few of the 1, 2, and 4s...
