I was in a store this morning that had been open an hour or two and had sold out already.

i think its really sad i can still find 1-7 and the issue zero(multiple at that) at my LCS and since issue #8 had R.I.P on the cover their sold out the first day..robin died once already i even wonder if this is going to stick..
it sucks i didn't want to hoard the book i just wanted it cause im actually reading it not trying to make a quick buck on this.

maybe DC should put R.I.P in all their titles so it will sell

Also the new Black Beatle books have been selling very well at the two shops I frequent - sold out of 40 1's between them with strong reorders. Francavelli covers always sell well according to my guy here.

I was not fully in the game with Cap #25, but I can tell you that Bat Inc 8 is GONE everywhere down here. And everywhere down here is a bunch of everywhere. I do not think it has big $$$$ in it's future, or that it is an "investment" book.
But it could be a new 52 "#4" book in terms of price. It did sell out lickity split.

second print is as good as a ripped comic no value.

Not at all, I'm disagreeing with you. I'm dropped Batman Inc at issue 5 but bought this one. I finally gave up on the Morrison Batman saga as the new 52, post flashpoint, DC universe has made it difficult to read as it doesn't really match continuity. But at the same time I want to know what happened to Damian, a character I've liked and read about for the past 6(?) years. MANY people will be in the same boat having read some of Damian's story throughout this time period and will therefore want to know what happens, couple this with Batman Inc not being a 100,000 seller normally the demand quickly outweighs the supply, this is before speculators or hoarders even get involved. Not every sell out is due to speculation, that's a very cynical look at comics which generally aren't worth anything in a month or two anyway.

i've gotten into comics only about a year ago, i've only read new 52 and green lantern '06 to blackest nights brightest days so damien i like alot.
about the second print thing it was a joke.. it contains the same story and i download and collect my comics.. so it did make me mad that i couldn't get it on wednesday but what are we even still talking about? this is useless arguing
