It's pretty rare I go back to a game after I get bored of it or move onto something else but I randomly picked up Borderlands again the other day for a crack and now I'm addicted.

Got myself a Lv 33 Soldier and I just LOVE finding new guns. I think it may be an addiction.

HAHAHA I hear ya man. When the add on packs went on sale for half off, I picked up the zombie island and armory add on packs. That got me back into it for a while pretty heavy but my level 13 or 14 Soldier needs some serious leveling before I can step out of my safe zone and not have to worry about some 'slime spitting dog' taking me down, hahaha.

I'm with 'ya. RARELY do I -ever- go back to a game if I get frustrated and stop or if I'm just flat-out bored.

Trying to think :hm: if I ever did and I don't think ever. Got frustrated with a late in the game boss with Zelda Wind Waker and stopped. Same with Twilight Princess: stopped cold turkey and never went back.

Got kinda bored with Dead Space. Never picked it up again.

Rented Alan Wake and even on the easiest setting I was running out of light juice and couldn't keep up with the onslaught of baddies. Returned it after the second day even though I had a seven-day rental.

I'm still going for the first 120 regular stars.....

Think I'm up to 103.
Finished the first 120 and now down to the last 20 stars on the Green Star Challenge. A few of them were very frustrating to get. You have to do things just perfectly in order to snag them.

This cracks me up, Daniel.

It reminds me of when I -had- to get all 120 stars in Mario 64. I'm kinda prone to obsessive-compulsive tendencies and getting those freakin'/frakin' stars took that disorder and put it on steroids.

So yea, I know what you're goin' through. 8-)

It's fun, but as hard as some of stars are to get, you know the developers must been having a good laugh when putting them there. Hey, let's put this star way over here where it will take them 40 tries to get it, mwahahahaha......

Exactly.

Do you remember that coin slide you have to go down REAL fast in Mario 64? And at the end of the slide was the magic star, but you couldn't take your time. Oh no, you had to do it in a certain time frame. And you couldn't go balls out or else you'd "slide" right off the slide.

That took me about 20-25 tries before I finally got that elusive star.

Same here.

Mario Kart for the Wii has a similar type of level. You have to skid around on a huge ice slide as fast as you can if you want the trophy. Takes many many lives to pull it off...

I picked up the Underdome one the other day as a couple of friends were playing it. Good fun in multiplayer.

Downloaded the game room for the 360. U can create your own arcade and it could be really cool. But at 240 points a game it's just outpriced itself IMO. A real shame.

I thought the same thing ... way too much money for that.

I just finished Kane and Lynch 2 ... it's OK, definitely better than the first. Kinda short.

Working through Mafia 2 now. Great story. Slow-moving and not a lot of action, though.

Not only is the 360 Game Room kinda expensive, there are no good games yet. IMO. I perused the titles a couple weeks ago and as far as I was concerned, there were no stand-out titles that made me want to jump on board. Just a bunch of crappy nobody games of yesteryear. YAWN...I'll pass.

Anyone going to get that new Spiderman game coming out? That looks pretty interesting.

There were definitely some old school classics on there Millipede, Missile Command etc. Just not worth that price in todays market.

Wahey, completed Borderlands! Final boss was a bit of a let down though. Gunna clean up the last few missions to get 100% methinks.

Still playing through Final Fantasy XII. Up to 70 hours so far. Working on getting the level 50 and magic liscence figures for my Sky Pirates Den whilst making my way through Giruvegan.

Didn't play 12. I've totally quit on 13. It's like playing a movie, real boring.

I like the look of XIII but the storyline was pretty poor and the way you have to play for 20+ hours before it opens up irks me. I have seen about 90% of it from when my brother was playing it. I have no desire to play it at all. The way the FF franchise has been since about FFX makes it easy to see why Dragon Quest outsells it in its native Japan.
