Just finished Prince of Persia: Sands of Time on PS2 and am onto Warrior Within. Darker tone than the first with more fighting so far. Not sure if I am going to like it as much as SoT but we shall see.

Also still going on Half Minute Hero on PSP. Great fun, original idea for a game with loads of classic gaming aspects to it. Anyone with a PSP needs this game.

I picked up a wireless Game Cube controller and two Game Cube games for Alyssa, Winnie the Pooh's Rumbly Tumbly Adventure and Star Wars: Rogue Leader - Rogue Squadron II ($4.00 and $2.00 respectively). I will let Alyssa have these so that she can play them on the Wii, yeah yeah Star Wars for Knightt ya ya... but really Alyssa totally digs Star Wars and heck it was only $2.00. I will try and pick a few more up for her as they are so cheap.

Is Luigi's Mansion any good ?

What other Game Cube games may be appropriate for Alyssa.

I found a way to play other region games on Wii as well... this opens up a whole new line of games.

Alyssa is psyched... she is calling it her own Xbox 360 !!!

Luigi's Mansion is a very fun game.

For Alyssa I would highly recommend Mario Kart, Super Mario Sunshine, Paper Mario and perhaps Super Smash Bros. You might enjoy playing some of those games as well, but you really need to try out Zelda: Wind Waker and Zelda: Twilight Princess.

Twilight Princess is excellent as a GC game.

Luigi will be fine for her. The Zelda games are a bit too complex in terms of controls and events for people under 10 or 12. BUT, I think that any of the Zelda games are a great introduction to action rpgs. I've seen it around 15 dollars. Try it for yourself, if you can. You might be surprised.

The Zelda games I'm recommending for you, Chris. The rest should be enjoyable to Alyssa. She might not get everything about some of the games, but she will have fun.

Just completed Red Dead Redemption, all the missions anyway theres still a bit to do to get 100%.

Just wanted to say this was a great game I didn't get bored of at all all the way through and actually paid attention to the story rather than skipping through to get to the action.

You should. The ending (for a sandbox game) is worth your while.

Just 100-percented Lego Harry Potter, IMO the best of the Lego games. Good, simple fun.

Playing Madden now. They seem to have simplified things, which I like but if you are a hard-core Maddenite you might bristle a bit. I like that you can blow through the games a lot faster now.

Good to know, I've really enjoyed the Lego games I've played like Star Wars and Indiana Jones. I'll keep my eye out for a good price and pick this up sometime.
