Shadowmatt wrote:[quote="ZephyrWasHOTIt's a wonder you stayed with comics. Lots of people, when they're screwed over by greedy, scummy, unethical, grossly misrepresenting to the point of fraud, assewipe sellers just leave the hobby.

And then they wonder why they go out of business because no one will buy their crap.
Luckily I realized that this retailer was an exception to most of the sellers I had dealt with at that point. But since then, I've asked if I can at least view the issue on all back issues more than 20 years old advertised as a VF or higher. When I get home from work tonight, I'll scan an image from this book, it's a doozy![/quote]

Yeah, I look at every damn book, too. Even my LCS, the only LCS I shop at, and have for almost 7 years, sells me crap at the "VF" price that had detached and reglued centerfolds, missing pages, etc.

I want to throttle him every time.

But you gotta admit....penises on every character....even Marvel Girl...is pretty damn funny. ;)

You handled it better than I would have. I would've sold it to someone I didn't like for $40 as a "special variant edition."

Some people spend their whole lives believing in fairy tales, usually because they don't want to give up the fabulous prizes.

At least it still has most of its cover. I have a large stack of coverless Silver and Bronze, including HULK #2, and an AMS #102 with the back cover still intact, among many...---Steve
