Oh. Never mind.chainnball wrote:I wasn't running off crying. But if you can't post an opinion without being jumped on and called childish names, why bother? This seems like it could be a great board, if you are allowed to speak. I get the whole customer service thing. I get wanting to spend your money. Hell, I can spend with the best of em. Jedimarley, If I somehow insulted you, I'm sorry. It was not intended. I was just posting an opinion. I'll choose my words and comments wisely next time.400yrs wrote:A little argument is no reason to run off crying, dude. Sure, we have "adult conversations about these cool books we collect." But this topic was not about that. It was about a prick LCS owner. It's a subject that *SQUEE* a lot of people off because most of us have dealt with them.chainnball wrote:Ok, you guys win. In fact, the other day, I went into a shop a ways away from me. The owner was on the phone with his mom being a complete dick to her. I walked out. If the low-life treats his mom that way (in front of a customer who is a complete stranger, no less), how is the *SQUEE*-bag going to treat me any better?

Some people spend their whole lives believing in fairy tales, usually because they don't want to give up the fabulous prizes.

You ought to stick around Chainnball. You seem to be the same kind of person as the rest of us ... a dude that dug out the old Valiants and was surprised to see there is still so much activity surrounding them. We all come to these boards eventually, like moths to the flame (or is that just Greg's big, white butt?).

Don't feel bad, everyone gets a good scouring, it's tradition. Before you know it, some gnarly n00b will jump you about something and the whole board will jump up their arse about it 'cause you're one of our dorks.
And nobody messes with the Valiant Mafia.
