Grant "touched by God/ or drugs" Morrison. I Love the man's work.
Millar's Kick A** is great fun too, just to name another work I enjoyed by another creator.
But Grant is the Master of Comics, IMHO. I've never read something like his Animal Man or the Doom Patrol stuff. That can only come from a true genius of the medium. Genius for reelz!
And when he takes on my fav sup-err-bat-dude, he's right there with Frank Miller, Alan Moore, O'Neill, etc. The Greats.
But to me, he's the Best Batman writer ever (at least on the same level with Miller), in my opinion.
And if you know me, that's saying a whole lot of what I think about this gentleman's work.

Totally agree. I read some of Delano's Animal Man, too, and I really enjoyed it. Would love to reread the series from start to finish some day. Did you try Scott Snyder's New 52 run?newt138 wrote:And speaking of Animal Man,I do love the Morrison run. But love the Delano run even more. For Morrison fans: the final volume of his seminal Zenith is out now. I am so happy to have all for Phases in nice hard-cover volumes.

VEI - I look forward to you one day publishing MORE than 9-10 books per month

If Ennis had stopped with preacher, I'd give it to him. Morrison gave us all star supes and some other overrated works. Ellis gave us transmet and planetary. Mark miller gave us entertaining versions of things we already liked. Tough to decide.
