Excited about WRATH !! And Venditti on a 2nd title!

Raul Allen is an interesting choice ... I'm not that familiar with his work but I think his style will work well with EW.

Just a quick thing, can we make sure to use spoiler bars in this thread? I always enjoy the chat and speculation, but I try to stay as far away from things being given away as I can! Always more fun to read the comic without knowing what happens!

No spoiler here, just wish-listing: I hope the new series properly reconciles the various bits we have seen, especially including the Houses stuff.

I thought it was great that this news dropped and the Eternal Warrior vs. XOM issues were just put on the Comicsfix app as well. Hope Venditti writes Gilad in his own book as well as he did on XOM.

I think this is exactly what the series needs. But....what happened to the proposed mini by Milligan and Nord? Does this mean we're not going to see it? I didn't mind 'Days of Steel'...

Cool beans. Hopefully this fares better than the last few. The art should be better at least.

Looks like the fall and winter will bring plenty of interesting books: this series, the next Dr Mirage and Rai installments...glad Gilad was brought front-and-center by The Valiant. That's where that character belongs. The Ani-Padda brothers are unique to Valiant, having no parallel avatars on the Big Two rosters.

Excited about this as well. Particularly after seeing how he has been written in Book of Death.

Just so long as it's not as bad as the first eight issues were.....
IDK, I really hope Valiant has their crap together because they really can't afford to screw up such a monumental legacy character as Gilad again

Also this makes how many Valiant books Venditti is working on? I mean geeze, I'm surprised he's not breaking under the strain

For writers that has been proven to be a manageable number over the course of comics history. Depends on the writer.

Don't forget the two monthly series Venditti is writing for DC too. Glad to see him on this title. :cloud9: I actually enjoyed the second arc of EW and wanted more. :?
