Totally. And I am so glad Darque is part of the Book of Death event! That Nord cover for issue 3 is great.grendeljd wrote:Hoo-boy is this a great looking September line-up.![]()

Super excited for the Book Of Death, the BoD:Harbinger 1-shot, and DIVINITY in Imperium!!!
Two things I am hoping for:
1) they find a way to strip Darque of the Bram Stoker armor and get him looking closer to the Classic aboriginal simplicity. That VEI outfit wastes his signature tats, IMHO
2) Jack Boniface shows up in full villain mode.

Of course they do. That's a common sales tactic to encourage you to buy now. In the case of X-O, Dinesh mentioned at NY Special Edition that the first print of X-O had sold out. I was asking about printings on the collections because we were discussing over in the reprints thread. I checked a bunch of books and a good number of the Volume 1s were on second printings. The Valiant sold out from Diamond before they shipped.BugsySig wrote:I keep one of each in my cart "saved for later" just to see and hey are almost always listed as "limited number available" or "only ___ left in stock."Phoenix8008 wrote:I have heard (over on Reddit) of some folks being unable to get Deluxe Editions through Amazon and such. I think they may have actually sold out all of the first printings!Nameless7 wrote:On another note; is there anything different about the second printing of the deluxe editions? or are they simply sold out such that there is a need for a second printing? (that would be really cool)
If you're not a *SQUEE*, you're okay with me.

While I accept some will be disappointed, I for one am relieved.jeremycoe wrote:I am officially surprised. No Quantum & Woody related titles this month.
VEI - I look forward to you one day publishing MORE than 9-10 books per month

Alone, listless, breakfast table in an otherwise empty room.

Sales seemed to be diminishing over the course of the minis and one-shot, right? So maybe VEI decided to rest the IP briefly (knowing they have several tpb's already with the characters).jeremycoe wrote:I am neither - just surprised.leonmallett wrote:While I accept some will be disappointed, I for one am relieved.jeremycoe wrote:I am officially surprised. Or maybe Asmus had told all the stories he could think of for the characters?

The last issue of Q&W Must Die suggests something is coming, whether another mini, or a new series. I doubt they'd just leave the alt-universe Woody thing hanging like that.leonmallett wrote:Sales seemed to be diminishing over the course of the minis and one-shot, right?
