Re: **2015 Valiant Photo Scavenger Hunt Contest** CLOSED
It was really fun to see all the entries. I wish I could have participated more, but my life has been chaotic. I was even going to spend 3 hours pulling books and stuff last night, but guess what happened? We've been in this house for 6 days, and the entire basement started flooding. My wife called and I fled home as my comic collection is on the floor that flooded. Lots of stuff was ruined, including all my kids artwork, a ceiling, a carpet, etc. My wife is in tears as the water is pouring in 5 different places and the kids' stuff is ruined. It's getting closer to my artwork before I get home and shut the water off. The plumber comes, spends an hour poking holes in the walls, etc. He says, "well this is embarassing" and pulls out what ends up to be six months of tampons out of the waste pipe. Gross.

I'm just thankful Home Depot is open until 10pm and the kids love to watch the forklifts.

Sorry to hear this.
So many friends I have in Australia have had water damage in the basement, or underground storage.
Hope you managed to salvage alot of stuff.

I wish their was a Spinal Tap comic, and I had a copy CGC graded at 11.

Re: **2015 Valiant Photo Scavenger Hunt Contest** CLOSED
I didn't mean to derail this thread. My apologies! I was hoping to participate more as I had a lot of fun last year. Late April and Early May are the busiest weeks for me in my profession. Time is always short, but with the move and other things, it was extremely short this year.
As for me being chill, I've learned to be much better about it. I really have a hot temper, but parenthood has taught me how to be more patient and calm. I had a hilarious "fight" a few weeks ago. I should share it at some point. Needless to say, I didn't take a swing, and it wound up for the best.

Winners will be announced on May 20th, 2015.
Likely all participants who participated are winners.
The contest was an overwhelming success, attracting numerous Valiant Fans from all across the globe. Without your support, the contest would not have been the success that it was.

It was LOTS of fun again, but no surprise there.

I ran out of time so could not do what I wanted to.
Other plans were:
Walking Billboard with actual comics on it. 6 on front and 9 on back of my favorite covers from VEI. On the front it would have said Valiant - These are books you can judge by their covers
Walking billboard with cut out art from free RPG rulesbook PDF, posters and other Valiant art.
Title would have said "Story comes first, but damn love the art" or something like that
Sony/Valiant poster saying
"The world will now experience... The Harada Protocol "
Pics of Bloodshot + Harada during that scene
Also, I don't keep an inventory on what comics I have (I know, I know!) but this made me realize I have 8 VEI gold books and 11 copies of Harbinger Wars sketchbook!
Anyway, just wanted to post that this was great, I really enjoyed looking at the wonderful submissions from everyone. Thanks so much Bruce and Elery for doing this again.

Where are we going and why am I in this hand-basket?

Re: **2015 Valiant Photo Scavenger Hunt Contest** CLOSED
Oh and another one I was going to do was for Valiant/DMG, using the South Part underpants gnomes... although I saw someone else here post something similar.
It would have been something like....
After all this time... the Gnomes were WRONG (pics of a gnome or 2)
Collect underpants + ? = Profit.
Get Valiant IPs + Partner with DMG = Profit

I'm glad I participated again, and am now excited to find out what the prize is this time around. Thanks Bruce and Elery!
