Supposedly we're getting a new Hulk and Wolverine out of this as well.

All i know is the new Hulk is a dude who is apparently going to *SQUEE* people off.
Marvel is the only company I know that actively enjoys *SQUEE* off their customers.

Ironman appears twice, he's really Marvels flagship character now.

Re: All-New All-Different Marvel
The real thing to wonder about Iron Man right now is who exactly is in the suit. Marvel seems hell bent on switching everyone out. So is Tony truly in thereRas the future fan wrote:

Re: All-New All-Different Marvel
who's the guy in the lower left with the sward and flag motif?
Re: All-New All-Different Marvel
Citizen V or as we know him Baron Zemo. He's from the original Thunderbolts run from the 90's runilzuccone wrote:who's the guy in the lower left with the sward and flag motif?

Re: All-New All-Different Marvel
Valiant has the potential to be great, but it still needs to get it's act together and figure out some sort of long term direction for their characters, because right now they're just mucking aboutilzuccone wrote:i think all new all different marvel will lead to...

Re: All-New All-Different Marvel
I agree that the new direction of Marvel seems to be nothing but pandering to the movie plans. Every time they have a half-way decent book, they cancel it and change the character into a woman or some other nonsense. I don't know who the new Hulk will be, but the last series by Gerry Duggan and Mark Bagley was by far the most interesting title they were putting out. Probably exactly because it was unaffected by all the movie nonsense. I understand why they want the characters to look like they look in the movies, but I just don't like it and never have. Now they have to act like they do in the movies and the story lines have to follow the movies too? F*** that! I was only reading 3 Marvel titles. but I am pretty sure that is going to ZERO. Haven't been a fan of Marvel's editorial decisions for quite awhile, but was giving them a chance lately, but every time I do they screw me so screw them!

movie costumes do not look good in comics.
comic costumes don't look good in movies.
simple right?
all the artists know this. unfortunately the people making the decisions are as far from artistic as possible. (my daily struggle

Re: All-New All-Different Marvel
I don't think theres ever been a successful movie to comic transition with a movies success. Think about it every company is guilty of it a not one of them can prove they've actually increased sales by aping their movies.ilzuccone wrote:movie costumes do not look good in comics.

Which is why everyone laughs to friggin hard when Marvel adamantly states they aren't being influenced by the movies despite so much evidence they are.

Looking at that image, the words "new" and "different" don't come to mind.

For something that's trying to be dynamic and exciting, this art is painfully mediocre and uninspiring.Ras the future fan wrote:

and of course there was this wonderful gemAlonso also commented on the publisher's relationship with the movies in the NY Daily News interview: "We are under no pressure to fall in line [with the films]. All those movies started on the comic page, and with the freedoms creators had to bend the universe -- and occasionally break it."

valiant should create welcome mats.
big valiant logo with "We welcome all disillusioned Marvel fans" written under it.
throw that on the doorstep of every comic shop
