Divinity #1 price/sales tracking

I was able to find 2 Divinity 1 3rd prints at my LCS. Bought them all for cover. If anyone doesn't have a copy of Divinity 1 let me know. I also just shipped my Divinity 1 1:40 and regular copy to CGC for grading. Here's hoping for 9.8s.

I visited two stores today in Kansas City and only saw 1 copy of Divinity #3 on the shelf. I did find a classic Bloodshot #6 (1st Ninjak) for $3.00, which was a nice find.

I went to 6 shops yesterday and none of them had any Divinity left.

Way more than I wanted to pay but the print run wasn't huge and this book is just gone.

Man, looking back, this seems like a steal.

Rico received the books he won in my auction and tells me he's 100% confident they're 9.8s. I hope so, cuz the rest of them look exactly like the ones I sent him.

I gotta bone up on this slabbing thing; is there a primer around that explains the whys and wherefores? But I have a lot of Valiant issues (like, a long box full) I wanna submit, so maybe it's just better to submit them directly to CGC at the NYCC.

I had thoughts of getting Kindt and LaRosa to sign a copy of Divinity at HeroesCon in a few weeks, but I see on the updated list that LaRosa has canceled

Yes, this is sadly true. I sent 15 books for sigs, but about 7 will actually get signed by artists/creators.

I noticed that as well, kind of dissapointing for me, I had plans to get my 1:20 signed, and my blank, sketched. Yea, I can still get Kindt to do both, but a LaRosa sketch, would of been sweet.

.. But my initial response, was elation at the heat behind the book, not the price, that doesn't bother me because, I have most of the first prints of #1 already.

BTW, just in case anybody wants ta' know, very shortly I'll be adding a complete set of ALL eight #1 covers (and a 4th print, too

!) with each book in NM/NM+ condition to my current WTS thread for, well, at least just "slightly" less than $499.

IF anyone here's seriously interested in picking up this set, by all means shoot me a PM with a legitimate offer and we'll see if we can't put a bow on it

There might be a chance very soon for 9-10 of the DIVINITY #1 1:40 and 1:20 variants (raw) as well as the DIVINITY #2 1:30 variant (to include the FIRST SIGNED copies of each with the words "first signed copy" on the front) for anyone who might be interested in such things.

I'm working out the details, but this would be to help out our friend Lewis LaRosa while at the same time giving several folks here the chance to score some of the HOTTEST HTF copies.

Anyone interested?
