Re: Divinity #1 price/sales tracking
It's very exciting to see the demand for this book! That being said, if this book sells for $300 those who are holding these books may want to think about selling. Not very long ago prior to the DMG news Harbinger #1 CGC 9.8 (less than 150 copies) only sold for $350.jmatt wrote:Holeee... just 350... I take it back. It'll be interesting to see if this fetches $300.dino wrote:The print run on the 1:40 is just 350 copies. One of our lowest runs ever (possibly our lowest).
I'm seeing third prints now listed at $20.
Just a friendly reminder that what goes up must come down.

Re: Divinity #1 price/sales tracking
So, these books I ordered, have magically disappeared. Tracking number says it was delivered, I checked the mail, green slip stating their was a package to large for the mailbox, which is routine in this instance, only problem, none of the packages left at the rent office today, have my name or address on them. The carrier from the post office is claiming he/she, left it at the rent office, it's starting to look like I'm *SQUEE*, I paid for insurance, so I should be able to recoup, but of course, I'd rather have my booksagent_graves wrote:After sleeping on it, I saidit, just ordered* the Blank Variant #1(VF) for $13.50, and the 1:20 #1(NM) for $25, (up $5 from last night, ugh) I also grabbed a Harbinger Wars #1A(NM) for $2 bucks, which pushed me pass the total needed for FREE shipping, by 49 cents, which made me feel a little better.

I would think that if they claim it was delivered, it would be tough to file an insurance claim, no? I don't really know much about how it works.agent_graves wrote:The carrier from the post office is claiming he/she, left it at the rent office, it's starting to look like I'm *SQUEE*, I paid for insurance, so I should be able to recoup, but of course, I'd rather have my books![]()

Re: Divinity #1 price/sales tracking
I contacted MileHigh, let them know the situation, the lady was very polite, said she would have someone return my call tomorrow, and not to worry, because I had the package insured, they would ship the *books to me again, in the event they didn't show up tomorrow. In hindsight, I'm glad I paid the extra two bucks, for insurance.jmatt wrote:I would think that if they claim it was delivered, it would be tough to file an insurance claim, no? The Post Office says the mail carrier needs to confront my rent office about the package, if that happens tomorrow, and still no package, I'll just concede, and get my refund.

Re: Divinity #1 price/sales tracking
That really blows. The Mile High free shipping does take a very long time for delivery. I am still waiting on a package I ordered more than two weeks ago with a bunch of Valiant variants in it. They didn't even ship it for almost a week after I placed the order! Hopefully mine shows up soon and doesn't suffer the same fate as yours. I'm sorry to hear that happened though. I know how frustrating that is.agent_graves wrote:Day 2, still no booksjmatt wrote:Whew! I can get a refund, no problem, but I'd really, rather have my books.

Re: Divinity #1 price/sales tracking
So, the Divinity variants I ordered from Midtown (UPS Ground) came yesterday, but unfortunately the ones I ordered from MileHigh, (the rare #1's) are still no where to be found, and to add insult to injury, I call MileHigh to get a refund, and the guy that handles that, called out of work
, I understand, *SQUEE* happens, but damn
Well, I know what's at the top of the list now, for HeroesCon.

My books from MileHigh, mysteriously, showed up today,
package was a little beat up, but the books were still in great shape.
Lesson learned, NEVER use USPS, even if you qualify for free shipping, still pay for your preferred method.

It's so much fun getting a package full of Valiant variants in the mail! I got a sweet package from Jay (Bloodshot) yesterday and have a few more things coming that should show up this week. And I got my package from Mile High earlier this week. The collection grows!

Re: Divinity #1 price/sales tracking
While in St. Louis this week on business travel, I visited 2 comic shops and one of them had the following Divinity books that I scooped up:
Divinity #1 B Cover- 2 copies
Divinity #1 1:20 variant- 2 copies
Divinity #2 1:30 variant- 1 copy
Divinity #3 1:10 variant- 1 copy
I left behind 2 more B covers to #1 and some of the 1:10 and 1:15 variants for issue 2.

It's always sweet, when you find key books, while browsing in out of town shops. I have to take my son to an open house (Duke) in a couple weeks, about two hrs from where we live, and I'm already looking to see what shops are close bymkb28 wrote:While in St. Louis this week on business travel, I visited 2 comic shops and one of them had the following Divinity books that I scooped up:

I do the same thing! Most of the time, it's a waste, but when it works out it can be magic (like that $9 Archer 0 Gold or the $1 Solar #3, etc.).agent_graves wrote:It's always sweet, when you find key books, while browsing in out of town shops.
