I think enough time has passed since the last series that a new #1 is permissible. it's not like Marvel ending a series and then re-starting it at #1 the next month.

I think the real question will be.

Will we be expanding past the magic 9 titles per month....

I'd be cool with 12. Maybe 15. Then I'd be maxed out.

It's funny, when Valiant first launched I was saying, "no more than 5 comics a month". A couple years later I am betraying myself by ordering all Valiant and sticking with TMNT+Micro Series, East of West, and any other sort of interesting looking Micro-series. 12 from Valiant I would do.

BIG +1 - I love PAD! Signing him to a book would be a huge coup! He could do wonders with A&A. :thumb:

I've been lobbying for that. Call it #1 on the cover and #26 in the masthead.
I'd be all for this model as well - I thought it worked well for BPRD for many years.

I'm still a fan of long term numbering at heart, but the comic industry has largely broken me of caring too much anymore. As long as Valiant can avoid bein as abusive with renumbering/relaunching as Marvel has become, I won't get too up-in-arms about it.

Starting Archer & Armstrong or Harbinger off with a new number 1 after the long hiatus they've been on is reasonable in my mind, despite a secret hope to see the numbering pick back up.

Maybe it's Archer and Armstrong (insert verb here), like Bloodshot Reborn.

I doubt it would be FVL, but I wish it would be FVL. I doubt it would be Clayton Henry given that he is slow, and he is doing Ivar: Timewalker. I hope it would be Pere Perez.

FVL with Pere Perez as main artits would be ideal for me. Alternatively, Steve Lieber after his work on Q&W Must Die.
