Bloodshot 2004 - Group Chat Monday night...
At Kevin VanHook's request, we will be having a "Bloodshot 2004" chat
on Monday (5/10) night at 11:00pm Eastern / 8:00pm Pacific.
(That's 10:00pm for anyone in Central timezone like me.)

Those of you who use an IRC client other than the link above,
please plan to "record and save" the chat session for us in text form...
Everyone who can, please plan to attend!

Why do you have to ask permission to write a story?ManofTheAtom wrote:No one has replied to my question
Can I do a Solar 2004 companion story or not?
If I can, I'd love to be in the chat.
Just write it and post it on your site or as a new post on the board.
Sheesh.
DAN
PS BTW, I should be able to drop in on the chat Monday.

I don't want to "just" write the story, I want to be part of the group you guys are forming and write the story with you as part of that group.sonicdan wrote:Why do you have to ask permission to write a story?

Otherwise I'm not interested in writing it.

Well, as I said, I don't want to just make it and get some penciler to do it. I'd like the story to be done alongside their Bloodshot 2004 project.Jaknife wrote:yeah. i might try pencilling it. dpeneds on how fast you want it done. just for the record, i draw pages sloooww. mainly time is not on my side. Anyway, if you want a group like this, id wait. thats just me.
There's really no point in doing it independantly from that.
In other words, I wanna play in the sandbox with the other kids, I don't want to have my own...

I just saw the most recent posts in the other thread.
I noticed that you mentioned Darque's still active in your story.
I'd like mine to take place in the 2004 that would be had VALIANT not stopped. That means Jack and Darque died in 99 and there's no more Darque power.
I'd like to explore that world.

RE: Solar companion piece
Sure, the more the merrier! Do a Solar piece.
If you want them to connect, Harada makes a perfect choice, since it sounds like he's up to his eggbreakers in this one.
In light of Mother's Day, etc., I'll review the various plot threads between now and Monday and we'll chat during the post.
Thanks for being able to join me.
Best,
KV

I had a dream that I was falling through time. I am falling still.
You ever see that Far Side where the Lone Ranger looks up Kemosabe in the dictionary? He all old and stuff, and he reads it. "Oh, here it is. Kemosabe: Apache expression for a horses rear end. What the!" The caption at the bottom says 'The Lone Ranger, long since retired, makes an unpleasent discovery.' To funny.
i know. it just popped into my head. ever seen the one where the two elk are intheir home, the wife with a nighty on and curlers, and the guy with a big 'ol beer belly. Wife holds the phone, and is looking at the dude. "Oh no honey, that was the call of the wild". their all fat and stuff. Whahahah! anyway, back to valiant stuff.
