I would love to see a story that shows the Vine Visigoths (Vinygoths???) as they were on Loam before Aric liberated them. What was life really life really like for them there. Since they did not know any other life were they more accepting of the circumstances? I really do hope that they flesh her out as a character.

I am predicting that this is the setup for the reappearance of Deidre. That could be interesting.

I agree, that would be an interesting revelation. And she's somehow got more personality, which is impressive considering she's appeared less.

Me too! I'd love to see how the influx of various world cultures affected the Visigoths, who for some reason appear to be the majority of the humans on Loam. It kind of doesn't make sense, which is why it could be interesting to see it play out. Maybe their culture was better suited to slavery conditions because they were currently living as rebels, while the others were not? Who knows! It'd be great to see or hear talked about more. I don't get the feeling Aric knows a lot about them as a people distinct from his own, which they should be. It'd, again, be a great way to finally get to know Saana.

It'll be even more interesting if the Vine join the human colony on Earth after the events of Dead Hand... and whatever happened to the Plantling conspiracy on Earth? Lots of loose ends there.

Doesn't it seem kinda early in the universe for a wedding edition? Isn't that what you do in year 15 to shake things up?

I dunno, this just seems premature. Saana is a mannequin, she's had no character development whatsoever, other than she likes the tap water running as she drifts off to sleep. We don't know anything about her, or even have a reason to care.

I'm sure V-ditti will keep it entertaining -- but it just seems like an odd choice, editorially.

Well, if they wanted to do this in a traditional comic style, then Silk, Harada, the United, and IE should crash the wedding party. Then you'd have a Big-Free-For-All!!!!

I think V-Ditti will make this event worthwhile and it can only help Saana's character. And that cover rocks, especially everyone's expressions.
