I don't think that book is hard to find. I think one seller has listed it for a high price. It might sell, because people pay too much for things on ebay all the time, but I doubt it will.

I find over 10 sellers offering issue 6 from that run on eBay but just two total sellers offering that particular issue. I'm sure no one is interested in my doing additional research on this. I have reached my own conclusions on what identifies a hard to find issue. The best argument against this issue being hard to find is Mile High has an unknown quantity in NM available, I think.

Back in 2011 only one seller had Ultimate Spiderman number two for sale on eBay. I'm talking about the 2011 series. Mycomicshop had them, and they had around 80 copies available for about three bucks each. Back then they made large quantities available of the same book on eBay. I bought every copy they had and I became the only seller with that book on eBay. I sold every copy for an average of about 10 or 12 bucks each. I've always felt it's a significant thing when only one seller has a single issue listed on eBay. I look to be that seller every chance I get.

That's a pretty good strategy. I've also have tailored my buying somewhat to available copies, but I don't go out of my to exploit a void of issues. One thing is for sure, you never know when a buyer might be looking for one, and if you're the only one with that copy you're in good shape!

I bought five (5) different Lazarus #1 CGC 9.8 slabs right before the TV news was announced. The regular cover and 4 variant covers, all in CGC 9.8. :cloud9: My timing was pure luck, but let's see if these actually go up in value. Beautiful slabs, by the way. :thumb:

I bought some Lazarus 1 2nd prints cheap because I wanted a little skin in the game due to the Lazarus thread on this board. :thumb:

New X-Men 115, featuring the first appearance of Negasonic Teenage Warhead, is a hot book. The character is to be in the Deadpool movie.

Of all the books out today I really think one to watch is Kanan the Last Padawan #1 if you can get your hands on the Variants for this THAT might be lucrative...

The Izombie books have really taken off! I wonder if the show will add fuel to the fire like TWD....I have an almost complete full run and a few additional number 1s. I think I'll be listing some on ebay:
