In regards to Shadowman

This was posted on facebook

Supposedly a tease for Bloodshot #10 at ECCC

Pretty nuts that there is artwork for Bloodshot #10 already

I hadn't heard that. I thought for sure they'd keep Milligan on Shadowman for awhile, being that the soft relaunch was so widely publicized. I think it'd be a shame to just ditch him entirely for Lemire

Not a big fan of Milligan

So I'm hoping Lemire takes on Shadowman

I would hope that he can just build on whats come before ... make it all come together continuity wise while bringing the character into a new direction

Looks like Shadowman will be featured in the 2nd or 3rd arc in Bloodshot Reborn

and then perhaps he will be launched into a Shadowman Reborn title by Lemire

When Lemire first was teased as a Valiant writer he teased something with guns and another with Shadow

Yeah, I'd really like to see that happen too - there's been a lot of cool ideas tossed around with Shadowman to date, it just didn't quite all gell together yet. Hopefully this isn't the only Shadowman related project that Lemire was alluding to.

New baseless theory: Book of Death will be an EW based event with Mitu (Gilad's Son...I'm pretty sure that was his name) as the central villain. If that's the case than I predict the event to be penned by Greg Pak and Fred Van Lente

if not then it's just like everything else: with Kind-T written all over it

That's what I was thinking. Dino mentioned "stories we haven't told yet". This could be the Venn diagram union of EW, the Geomancer, the book from the cube, Mitu, the House of Death, Shadowman and Darque.

Going back to the Shadowman picture there, I'm sure I remember seeing a scene like that back in VH1 Birthquake! Anyone remember the 'Cult of Shadow' or whatever they were called in the issues with that pink-haired dude 'Blister'?

Seriously though, Shadowman monster truck? I think someone must've told VEI what my two favourite things in entertainment media are

Love that monster trucks seems to appear in VEI comics from time to time, always great

The promo art though, not bad but all the faces look like someone cut the heads off the characters' bodies and replaced them with face doodles on little sacks of potatoes. Seriously, Punk Mambo: I genuinely thought it was a transvestite in her outfit for a moment, until I realised all the faces were *SQUEE*
