X-O / Bloodshot crossover? (spoiler-ish)

First there's this piece from the upcoming FCBD Valiant 25th Anniversary Special by Jackson Butch Guice:

I immediately took notice of the XO / Bloodshot fight in the upper right.
Then this piece showed up on eBay & CAF today:

Upcoming crossover? Mini-series? I don't think these characters have interacted yet in the new VU.

I am going to guess, now that Guice has been announced at the artist for the 2nd arc of
Bloodshot reborn, that X-O and Bloodshot fight it out/team-up around issues #6-9.
