He was enjoying family life in his head, on the other hand, his character does not really translate into a romantic relationship. I saw Gail Simone doing a fun romance for Bane once, but of course it olny lasted for a short time and it was very goofy and weird.

Eventually he connected with Jillian and then she became like him-so they would smell the same.

That Bloodshot didn't stick raw meat on his body though.

Him and Nevil's daughter had a bit of a "thing" going towards the end of Bloodshot's original V1 run she also became Fem-Bloodshot. But a lot of the stuff in the later half of the comic just felt like it was just throwing stuff at the wall and seeing what stuck, namely Rampage and Proteus

I can see them doing that to secure the lucrative Emetophilia/Blood fetishist market out there but I would hate to see such pandering.

I never thought of Bloodshot having a boyfriend but that makes me wonder if one of his memory implants might have involved a homosexual relationship. If they were to provide motivation for his wetwork then I can see a highly motivated Bloodshot dropped into a place like Iran thinking about his boyfriend back home.

I figure the nanites keep him squeaky clean at all times. Probably doesn't even have body odor.

This is kinda tame compared to how people react when trying to explain why Superman can't be with Lois on a sexual level or even have kids.

That said it would be nice to explore actual relationships on any level across any company. Everybodies been pretty weak in that regard.

I'm sure that if I read something similar done about Bloodshot I would wake up screaming for the rest of my life.

What kind of person do you picture Bloodshot with? Someone who can handle him or herself seems like a given. I'd hate for the character to devolve into Super Mario always having to rescue his significant other. Then again the idea of Rotwak popping up and saying "Sorry, your princess is in another castle" would be funny. Maybe a rogue Hard Corps member where Bloodshot can act as Lifeline or a psiot. They can't all be under Harada's control.
