Actor to play Harada (The Man in the High Castle)

Post by Sir Sandrick »

Anyone see the pilot of "The Man in the High Castle" on Amazon prime yet?

Joel de la Fuente who plays the role of Inspector Kido would make an outstanding Toyo Harada in my opinion. He's mostly known from his appearances on Law and Order and a few select movies, but whenever I see him I always think "damn he could play a great Harada"

He does intimidating and arrogant really well and I just think that he could nail the part.

If you haven't seen it yet, be sure to check out "The Man in the High Castle" on Amazon instant. It is an outstanding imagining of the book by Phillip K Dick and a great watch. Let me know if you think that he would be a Toyo too (well the younger version that is)

Somebody is really cashing in on Philip K Dick's life works. His works have made more money than he did while alive. Probably many magnitudes more.

He has a very interesting life story. I have odd theories about him. Can't shake the feeling he was some kind of modern prophet.
*SQUEE* your science, I have a machine gun.

Sounds like he should have stayed in the ship.

True enough, very interesting story. I am just glad to see a serious take on his works after instead of them trying to make them into more summer blockbusters like Minority Report. I hope that they continue this series because it really does a great job of making the watcher consider alternate histories.

Although I actually enjoyed Minority Report quite a bit. I mean... on top of everything else about it... Max Von Sydow is just cool. And possibly immortal.
