Re: Discuss Hard To Find Or Currently Hot Comics Of Any Era
I ended up lowering the price by $20 and sold another one last night so I've unloaded 4 of them, seriously this book is going crazy and I really thought there would be more out there.
Hot Topic did send email to managers to count and destroy all remaining copies and they will be getting replacement or corrected versions but I bet it will be at a much lower print run than this originally was..

Is $11 too much for a fine, maybe vf copy of Hulk 324? I tried to talk the seller down, but he won't budge.

20 copies of Ultimate Fallout 4 first print in polybag sold for $150 on eBay yesterday. It was essentially a wholesale deal, as copies have been breaking $10 each.

Yeah, I believe you can buy two at a time from them via their website. They list 5 at a time on eBay but they get snagged up by a single sharpie. I've seen that happen twice this month. They generally add about 10% to their eBay listings compared to their website prices.depluto wrote:Mycomicshop.com still has NM copies for $3.30StarBrand wrote:20 copies of Ultimate Fallout 4 first print in polybag sold for $150 on eBay yesterday. No one is talking about the rapid decline of the SW #1 Hot Topic variant?
Brian, I hope you don't have any customers with "buyers remorse" on these...

I don't understand buyer's remorse on this hot flash-in-the-pan books. None of them hold value. Not like Silver/Gold age books. Supply-demand curve just doesn't allow it.slym2none wrote:No one is talking about the rapid decline of the SW #1 Hot Topic variant?

Re: Discuss Hard To Find Or Currently Hot Comics Of Any Era
Well, in this case, the price went from ~$200 to (in some cases) $5 over the course of a day, so using eBay's return system, people who paid $200 can return the book and get their money back.
Weird, as I am sure some people sold this book for $10-20 and didn't ask the buyer for more money afterward...
I have said it before, I am sure I'll say it again - I *SQUEE* hate eBay.

Wow, I didn't think about that. So people who don't like the price they paid can just send the book back and get a refund?slym2none wrote:Well, in this case, the price went from ~$200 to (in some cases) $5 over the course of a day, so using eBay's return system, people who paid $200 can return the book and get their money back.
