Rai with changeable appearance would look sick.

Not sure if this has been mentioned, but Rai as an Assassins Creed/Arkham City style game. Various aspects of japan are locked and need to be opened and explored. Side quests with PTs, Raddies, and Spylocke. Maybe a Doctor Silk centric plot that requires Rai to relive virtual histories of the Valiant Universe for clues and understanding of the story, allowing the player a chance to play as different characters/scenes from comics (Play as Bloodshot during his escape from PRS, Ninjak/Liverwire/Gilad during the assault on X-O in Unity, X-O during the fight against the Armor Hunters, etc.)
Good Morning, that's a nice tnetennba.

That could work. I like the idea of using VR plot setup to flash back and see other characters it gets around the too small of a cast these series have that really prevents them from becoming games.Keith wrote:Not sure if this has been mentioned, but Rai as an Assassins Creed/Arkham City style game. Considering Rai is only 4 issues Crain making the art takes a long time, it could easily be in the same continuirty without the game creators having a lot of restrictions.Keith wrote:Not sure if this has been mentioned, but Rai as an Assassins Creed/Arkham City style game. Re: Pitch Valiant video game ideas!
Aaaaaaaaaaaand... we'd finally have a reasonable excuse for the fast travel option prevalent in so many open world games. Rai would be able to fast travel to various parts of Japan he's unlocked because we've already seen him doing that in the comic.
In fact, make it part of the story/leveling up process. Rai is unable to travel about Japan in that fashion, and needs to unlock certain areas first or level up to reach certain areas. Maybe it's even part of the historical VR missions? Rai needs to play certain VR mission(s) as Livewire to regain his ability to fast travel?

Anything better than the Harbinger Wars mobile game.
Black Science. Lazarus. Birthright. Saga. Manifest Destiny. Deadly Class.

Re: Pitch Valiant video game ideas!
As a regular gamer i think games based on valiant books would be awesome and i would most defenitly buy them!
So here are a few of my thoughts:
A X-O manowar game in the style of Warhammer 40k: space marine would probably work.
That game already did a really good job of mixing ranged and close quarter combat wish would be essential in a X-O game.
Preferably the game would be 3:rd person.
An Eternal warrior game i feel would be best as a spectacal fighter (god of war style) or a open world RPG where you would go around and do missions given to you by the geomancer(s) (shadow of mordor style perhaps)
Archer and Armstrong would make for a great beat em' up co-op game with either a focus on tight levels and a massive amount of enemies. Or maybe something in the style of Saints Row (could also work for a Quantum and Woody game)
Just a few ideas to start with

Whatever goes down, one of them should have a "micro-minigame" where it turns into an old 32-bit sidescroller.

Some people spend their whole lives believing in fairy tales, usually because they don't want to give up the fabulous prizes.
Re: Pitch Valiant video game ideas!
Okay Valiant now really really needs to do at least a new mobile game. The WWE has done a new game which is a reskin of the Injustice mobile game. The concept is that the WWE multiverse is fighting each other.

At this point we need anything. If the WWE can get something Valiant can get something

How about a Dr Mirage pinball arcade game? Then a card game where you can play poker with the Renegades and various other characters from the Valiant U? Maybe a Ninjak side scroller or if you want something serious how about a Tell Tale games Ninjak adventure series in the Walking Dead fashion?

Re: Pitch Valiant video game ideas!
That's not really a fair comparison. WWE brings in 1/2 a billion in revenue annually and has been licensing video games since the '80s. I would like a video game, though.dornwolf wrote:Okay Valiant now really really needs to do at least a new mobile game. The WWE has done a new game which is a reskin of the Injustice mobile game. Archer & Armstrong Point & Click Adventure ala Sam & Max: Hit the Road and Monkey Island.
Metal Gear Bloodshot.

They're also probably hemorrhaging more money than Valiant does too.jeremycoe wrote:That's not really a fair comparison. Re: Pitch Valiant video game ideas!
A Doctor Mirage game adapting the recent mini could also use this as well, because fast travel in the afterlife is one of her suit's abilities. I'd love it even more if there was a little "clicking heels" animation, Oz style. It'd have to be a Zelda type story, I think. Would be AMAZING.Keith wrote:Aaaaaaaaaaaand... we'd finally have a reasonable excuse for the fast travel option prevalent in so many open world games. Re: Pitch Valiant video game ideas!
I would like to see a RPG using all the VEI characters but set in the original unity storyline (or something really similar). You can start out trying to find everyone in the lost land and create your team then spend the rest of the game trying to stop mothergod. You would have the opportunity to play as everyone and level up on various side quests. Harada and Darque can even be added in as additional bad guys with their own agenda. Lots of potential here.
