Looks to be that way Dan. VEI is focused on the 4001 arc (which I honestly have enjoyed more than the first few issues of EW) and as such they have asked Lewis to re-draw this cover to match their 4001 focus (much the same as with EW #6 as you just showed).

But in many ways I think this is cool, and as Lewis was kind enough to make the new cover available, it only makes the story behind the art better.

So what my new display plan will be is to frame his initial sketch, the unpublished cover, the published cover, and then the final graded comic all as one large display:

So I lose $100 in the framing process (well, not really, as I can use the old frame/display for my next cover) but it's worth it as the final product will look amazing. It will be about 4 feet wide, so it certainly will take up wall space real estate, but what can I say? I live for this

!
