Well there had to finally be a game to encourage people to buy into the new gen, apparently Batman: Arkham Knight will be that game.

Re: What video game are you currently playing?
I finally brought myself to finish Arkham Origins. Surprisingly, there's some stuff in the game that's actually quite good. Not jawdropping like the first time I played Asylum, or the HUGE improvement in mechanics that City had; still, the bits with the Joker and Harley, Bruce reanimating Alfred or the ending with Gordon (Jarl Balgruuf!!!!!!
) speaking about Babs and how his POV on the city has changed? All great stuff. I had chills in my arms during those scenes.
On the downside, I lost count onhow many times you have to defeat Bane. Annoying. I also would liketo have met every assassin during the main storyline, which in itself, was a bit of a mess.

Re: What video game are you currently playing?
Been playing Borderlands 2 GOTY edition. Gameplay much the same with a little better story this time around. They did a great job with the main antagonist. Some of the dialogue is really hilarious. I liked the addition of the E-Tech and Torque guns this time around, but was disappointed with the drop levels for the nicer weapons and shields. It made for some really frustrating moments since the enemies get pretty overwhelming in this one. You spend a lot more time "farming" for better weapons just so you can complete the missions. Other than that, very fun game.

God Of War 2.
I beat the first God Of War back in the day but didn't play the sequel because I watched my older brother play it and it looked too hard. but a few weeks ago I got the God Of War Saga that has God Of War 1, 2, & 3.
I forgot how much God Of War kicks *SQUEE*.

I've played 'em all (as far as I know, I'm not totally up to date on the gaming world!) and I think they're all really fun, even the PSP games. Glad to see someone else is still kickin' *SQUEE* back in ancient Greece!

Anyway, as I'm posting, I'm mostly still playing a lot of Motorstorm Apocalypse online, trying to unlock all the car parts. It's literally taking months!

Still playing and loving Skyrim again. My 3rd playthrough is very fun so far. Up to level 32 or so I think.

Awesome game. I was actually thinking about starting it over again once I'm done with Borderlands 2 (I have a lot of other games I should probably start first though...).Phoenix8008 wrote:Still playing and loving Skyrim again. My 3rd playthrough is very fun so far. Up to level 32 or so I think.

I highly recommend a Conjuration/Illusion mage. Lots of fun! I just got the spell to summon a Dremora Lord. He's so cool walloping things with his big flaming greatsword. And he has the best dialouge lines like: "Your soul is MINE!"... "I smell weakness, come out and face me!"Daniel Jackson wrote:Awesome game. I've been having a blast with Watchdogs on the Xbox One. So much to do, and the "hacking" aspect of it is done very well. Causing pursuing police cars to crash with an explodi steam pipe never get's old. Most fun I've had with online multiplayer in a long, long time.
Good Morning, that's a nice tnetennba.

Re: What video game are you currently playing?
While I fully anticipated being nipple deep in Destiny at this point, I am surprised by how "meh" I feel towards it. I don't think I've played it in weeks.
On the flip side, a friend recommended Shadows of Mordor, and that game is just ridiculously fun. Think Assassins Creed meets Batman: Arkham City, in a Lord of the Rings wrapper. And the Nemesis System adds a unique spin on the gameplay that makes every random battle potentially a semi-game changer. Random thugs that can level up and be a thorn in your side the rest of the game? Brilliant!

Re: What video game are you currently playing?
Almost finished with my second run and did max out conjuration, illusion and destruction this time. Even after putting quite a bit into the magic category, I still had to use enchanted clothes to use the master level spells though. Did find a neat trick with destruction. If you max out enchanting and take certain perks (can't remember which offhand), you basically have unlimited magic when you use fortify destruction on 4 items of clothing and jewelry. I think you need at least 80 in enchant to get 25% on each item.Phoenix8008 wrote:I highly recommend a Conjuration/Illusion mage. Lots of fun! I just got the spell to summon a Dremora Lord. I highly recommend those PSP games. You can get them bundled on the PS3 as the Origins collection. Theres also the newer one Acension which has multiplayer.Shadowman99 wrote:Dude, GoW is AWESOME!Brother Darque wrote:God Of War 2.

Re: What video game are you currently playing?
Finished up Dishonored last night. Glad I waited and bought the GOTY version. The game is fun, but it also a lot shorter than I expected. The dlc made it seem a bit more worth it and helps to explain some of the loose ends of the main story. Nice combination of weapons and abilities and loved the stealth element of the game. It was cool to be able to choose how to deal with situations, either with guns blazing or finding a way to sneak past enemies. Decent game, but could have been epic with a few additions and longer main campaign.

Re: What video game are you currently playing?
I started playing Skyrim on my ps3 this time.. not sure if its just due to updates, but it runs better than on the 360 when I played it last time.
I started it since the destruction/conjuration/illusion mage talked about above sounds like fun and I was using melee weapons last time. Thanks guys.

Where are we going and why am I in this hand-basket?
