It was said that Earth was the furthest out the Hunters had gone...but you are right it should be mentioned at some point.

Of course, who's to say we haven't seen any aliens in Rai yet? Spylocke, anyone :?
The last issue of X-O showed the armors converging on the home planet and also mentioned them re-contaminating previously decontaminated worlds - perhaps the ultimate outcome of that is virtually all life in our galaxy is wiped out.
Or maybe the Hunters have killed most of those planets to contain the infection? Or maybe Earth is considered best avoided. But yeah, I hope that they live on the planet itself, perhaps, and definitely hope Spylocke is still Vine. That will work really well with Rai not being sure how human he's meant to be.

Not my favourite book, but more than okay. Maybe this will take a while to win me over; Harbinger did, and X-O Manowar certainly did take quite a while.

While I can appreciate the style of the art, I just don't enjoy the art in a comic I am reading. I struggle with it in places, and where I do it does not feel as clear as more traditional style art does. I am not criticising the artist, it is just that the style does not work for me.

I also feel there are too many loose threads in play right now, especially with the impending brief hiatus.

These factors combined may be why I just don't love this book right now.
VEI - I look forward to you one day publishing MORE than 9-10 books per month

I loved this arc, not so much happening in terms of Bomb droppings about Father, like pointed earlier, but I do love this series.
Right now, I think Rai is my favourite ongoing by VEI. Too bad the break, I want to see this team going after The Man next month.

A unique comic series. 5 stars.

help me out with this. my rai one is buried. Does it not say in issue one that there hasn't been a murder for 1000 yrs or something like that? There seems to be a lot of pre rai 1 murder talk going on. the previous rai snapped just like the current rai and started chopping heads.. they don't say that directly but sure feels implied. also Silk says he's never seen spylocke miss a shot. so has he just been maiming individuals with his high caliber green bullet gun?

rai definitely seems to be much smaller in scope than i was hoping. i dig the connections to characters the other books. but it feels like they are only pulling from valiant characters alive in 2014 ( i assume the other books take place in 2014). i would think a lot of other powerful and influential people would be born between now and 4001. but hey maybe not. it's not my universe to write :?

lots of potential in this book. just not hitting the mark IMO

Well, government sponsored assassination and military casualties don't typically count as murder.

For some reason that last comment made me imagine a version of The Dragon's Den where instead of pitching inventions/products to businessmen, people pitch murders to military, intelligence and business people. Which would be funny, also messed up. :p
