Valianteers! Baltimore, Long Beach, and NYCC
Hey guys!
We have a few shows coming up and so far we've had an amazing time with the volunteers who have loaned us their time and passion for Valiant.
Since that is the case, let's try another round. If any of you are planning on being at the following shows, we'd sure love work with you!
Baltimore Comic-Con 9/6 - 9/7
Long Beach Comic-Con 9/27 - 9/28
NYCC 10/9 - 10/12
Thanks guys!

I'll see you at LBCC, but I'll have my own booth.
But I'm sure the West Coast Crew will show up to help.

Yeah. Do you mean like hanging out at the Valiant booth and talking about comic books with anybody who'll listen?Dr. Solar wrote:I will probably be at LBCC too. In what capacity though?...Elveen wrote:I'll see you at LBCC, but I'll have my own booth.

Do I even need to say that the fixture at the Valiant booth that is my children would be more than happy to continue their tradition of being Valianteer's?
That is at LBCC. If you help me get tickets I would also Valianteer for NYCC also

Re: Valianteers! Baltimore, Long Beach, and NYCC
To give a sense of what you could be signing up for:
I helped out the Sunday of NY Special Edition. Jmatt and I were handed out the Preview Editions of Delinquents to passersby. For a time I was in the section of the booth where all of the TPBs were set up, trying to get people to try out some Valiant books. When the show closed down, I had nothing going on after the show, so I helped Atom! break down the booth and pack it on a palette for the next show. Let me say that having worked on convention committees in the past, the worst part of any show is breakdown. At least with setup, you're looking forward to the show. At breakdown, you just have the mess to deal with. Valianteers could be a *huge* help to our favorite company by helping that process become a little easier and go a little quicker. Although I'm sure that manning the booth throughout the entire weekend helps tons, too. I'll be helping out again when NYCC rolls around.

Being a Valianteer is awesome! If you guys are available I'd recommend it. There is nothing cooler than hanging out with the Valiant staff and sharing your love of Valiant with other attendees!

I completely agree, my children love it more than the convention itself! But valiant is very special to them.

I'd love to Valianteer at Long Beach, but I don't know if I'll be able to make it yet, when would you need to know?

This is exactly what will be asked of you. I helped out for 5 hours in Boston in early August, handing out Pullbox Previews of the new Quantum and Woody series, got to meet and talk to a ton of people about how great the the Valiant titles are, while still having time to meet a bunch of writers and artists. Atom, Dinesh, and Rob Meyers were really cool to hang out with.
