Honestly, it's a great show and great location.
Its not SDCC or Wondercon, but a great show.

I haven't done that much traveling for cons outside of the northeast, but would be up for it if a decent number of people were interested in it.

Or better yet, how far will you travel? Maybe we can find a suitable place in the middle.

Dude .... nothing makes car rides go faster like a good audiobook! The Wasteland by Stephen King book 3 of the Dark Tower series is a particular favorite of mine for a long trip. Though I have heard that one so many times know I usually opt for something I haven't read. I have a lot of the Drizzt Do'Urden books by R A Salvatore on audio too.

Re: Phoenix comic con 2015
I live in Mesa AZ. I go to Phoenix Comicon every year and get a sitter for kid for after party fun. With that stated. We also rent a hotel room in Phoenix for the after parties. 2014 was so much bigger then 2013 was. I expect 2015 will be even bigger. If everyone decides to have a Valiant fan event at 2015 Phoenix Comicon it would be great, but book hotel room early. They sell out really quick
at the discounted rates. The tickets usually do not sell out of full event passes quick, but if you buy earlier then later, the prices are cheaper. They usually go up in price about 20 bucks by either April or may, I do not remember exactly. 1st year Valiant was there was a blast, I am sure Josh will never forget the stack of books I had him sign. If it is determinded to meet up with Valiant fans, I would love to meet you all.
Hope to see you all there if you come!

Comics are the wave of the future. It forces people to read and imagine something more then their world they know. If everyone looked pass their reality, less violence would be an issue. Comics instead of war!

Re: Phoenix comic con 2015
I will be there again next year. I live in Phoenix about 10 minutes from downtown.
I don't have a big house but could have some people over one of the nights.

Re: Phoenix comic con 2015
Ok so I will say this. I live just off the light rail in mesa which is just to far, In my opinion to offer to house people. We get a hotel room and happy to share if wanted. I know me and kizmitshade are new to the board, but we love valiant fans. I am happy to help host a pre or post Comicon party at my place in Mesa. I also have a pool for cooling off in the desert. Please let me know if you all decide to have an Phoenix Comicon event, I am happy to help set up plans. I only attend college part time and home with kid rest of time.
