Some people spend their whole lives believing in fairy tales, usually because they don't want to give up the fabulous prizes.

Hulk181man and myself hit a fleamarket and scored some nice stuff.

Almost a dozen unity and preunity issues, a few later issues, final Ninjak and a Rai 0.
23 issues total for $6.

Dave (hulk181) had the snag of the day but that's his story to tell...
It's Solar... Don't call him Dr. Phil!

With a setup like that....

finally snagged an Eternal Warrior 1 gold (flat)
also Trinity Angels review & Warriors of Plasm 13 for 50 cents each.
And Kevin/SolarFan is being too modest - his $6 purchase included a hard to find Turok 46 - for .26 cents - very nice :thumb:

Then there was the CEAR...we each grabbed it at the same time - then tore it in half while fighting over it

Got a call this Saturday from friends who were checking out garage sales.
My friends wife doesnt know anything about comics, but bless her, she remembers I collect Valiant. Anyway she said they had a big box and there were some Valiant ,Image & Marvel.

When I got there I found that the Valiant were from the super print run era, and the image books were not even worth the 25 cent price that the owner was asking. The marvel books were a different story. The lady who was having the garage sale said her son had been a big spiderman and x-men fan. The spiderman books were all Marvel Tales that I wasn't interested in, the X-men I grabbed quick.

X-men 101, 107,109, 110, 112, 114, 115, 119,121,123
The 101 was in fine, the rest were vf to nm.

$2.50 for all 10

:D

This is true. I can no longer sleep. I pop no-doze & drink Jolt Cola with regularity. When I do sleep I dream of this hideous guy with sharp claws tearing up my pre-Unity books and other well written comic issues. Turns out to be Rob Liefeld with a bad manicure.....

Magnus 1-13 all in NM condition in MYLARS for each one at cover price.
Not bad, I thought...considering that the 12 is worth almost what I paid.
1-8 all have coupons too!

Finally, I get a good deal!
