Back in the day about a year ago when I was collecting preunity 9.8s.. I would have BIN'ed this in a heartbeat at this price. It was impossible to find.

Has there been a census increase recently?

This 9.8 copy of Solar #10 has been sold to the finance/delivery team of DBS and Bloodshot.

Documenting the sale for $457.

I see the seller is 80s_kid ... in a fun "blast-from-the-past", my records show that I ALSO bought a CGC Solar #10 from 80s_kid.

It was a 9.4 for $35 shipped... in 2002.

Greg, on a side note can you confirm that this OA page (link below) is in-fact the very 1st appearance of Gilad, or is it simply one of the subsequent pages from SMOTA #10, but not the first appearance.

It is a subsequent page.

The first appearance is a tiny Gilad walking up some stairs in a bottom right panel on page 5.
The "best" first appearance page for Gilad would be page 6, where he appears in every panel.

If we want to get "technical" the page on Ebay is the first appearance of Gilad and Geoff together.
Geoff appears on page 1, but he can't become Gilad's Geomancer until they meet on page 9 (the one in the auction)
when Gilad is getting Geoff out of the psychiatric hospital.
But the "best" first appearance page for Gilad and Geoff together is page 10... when they have "the talk".

There have been a lot of Eternal Warrior 4s in CGC 9.8 auctioned in the last few months on eBay.

It has been a LONG time since EW #2 and AA #2 were available in CGC 9.8 on ebay.

Zero sales in 2014 before now.

Demand might only be two people, but supply was zero.

That's all it takes.

I wouldn't suggest anyone slab a bunch of these to try to score big... only two demanded it and one just got it.
