Bloodshot will resume in October
According to Bleeding Cool, Bloodshot will resume in October, and it will pick up at issue 24, in view of it having ceased originally at issue 23. I really hope it's true that it resumes at issue 24, not with a new first issue. That would be a great precedent, and I strongly applaud VEI for resuming Bloodshot at issue 24 if that's accurate.

This looks like a bloodshot image ... so I think we can count on a return to numbering and at the very least an issue #25 for Bloodshot

Re: Bloodshot will resume in October
VEI resuming their titles at the numbering where it left off is sure refreshing. I think it adds importance to each issue that has already been published previously, and goes against the sickening trend of constant relaunches by other publishers.

I am so glad they are doing this with their books. I hope this turns into something of another trend setting sales technique for VEI. I for one am quite happy to see the odd hiatus for a mini-series if they keep resuming the original numbering afterwards.

Re: Bloodshot will resume in October
Pleased to hear this, and it looks like Bloodshot alone. I hope that before too long HARDCorps will be back. A mini would be okay, but I would love to see Palmer and company in there own ongoing.
It will be interesting to see if the hiatus harms sales in anyway. I hope not, but you never know.

I dont think sales will take much of a hit given we jump from Bloodshot & HARD Corps to Armor Hunters: Bloodshot then back to Bloodshot. Personally I pretty excited by this, the last two issues really felt like the book was capturing that pre Harbinger Wars feel.

Re: Bloodshot will resume in October
If the next iteration of Harbinger centers around the Gen Zero kids, I could definitely see Palmer and the new HARD Corps involved as they try to track-down and capture the rogue psiots.leonmallett wrote:Pleased to hear this, and it looks like Bloodshot alone. Re: Bloodshot will resume in October
I wish they would use a flip cover concept it they are going to temporarily combine books. Not that they need to have part of the books actually flipped.. it could all read as one book. Then the numbers would continue and you could read in a consistent continuity.

I wonder who will be writing? Maybe this Duffy guy that co-wrote the last 2 Hard Corps issues? Or maybe the guy on the Armor Hunter mini?

Re: Bloodshot will resume in October
I dunno, we've seen him regenerate from lesser injuries, and he seems to be walking out in the second frame. Then again, he was weakened by Harada's prodding after the first arc where he was seemingly invincible.

Re: Bloodshot will resume in October
Two issues seems like not enough to wrap up the story about his identity, etc. if they were going to bring in a new Bloodshot
