OPG is obviously wrong about a lot of Valiants (considering what they sell for on e-bay)
What else (non-Valiant) is constantly selling for higher than OPG has it for?

The biggest differential that I have heard about was for Albedo #2.
Overstreet #33 listed the book for $14.
Overstreet #34 now lists the book for $200...
but I think that is also low vs. actual sales.
There has always been complaining that the key issues of major
Golden Age and Silver Age titles are much too low.
Anytime a true NM copy is sold, it usually sells for at least 1 1/2 guide, etc.

My theory is that the price guide is already calculated sometime in October of each year. Therefore all the prices list in OPG are already half a year old.

I found, so far, ONE single instance of a 'key' Silver book (or any book, for that matter) to go DOWN since OPG #33....Cap #100 was $550 in last year's guide, now it's $450 ($475? I'm at work, someone confirm for me.)
That's it so far.
Albedo issues have FINALLY been brought up, after years and years. A 9.4 copy of #2 sold for $1700 about a year and a half ago. Amazing. One damn scarce book.
Any other 'prices have gone down' to note?

Complaining from WHO? Retailers? Certainly not anybody buying them. Based on consistent eBay sales, I'd say just about every Silver book outside of early Showcase, FF #1, and Fantasy #15 is overvalued by about 50-75%.greg wrote: There has always been complaining that the key issues of major
