Re: FCBD: VALIANT UNIVERSE HANDBOOK
That's what I'm upset about. Out of the two books, the Armor Hunters (waste of a book since I've seen it all already in the monthlies) is the only one my store got. Where can I get a copy of the handbook from?Shade wrote:I could only pick one and I picked the Armor Hunters one... Waste of a pick. It had previews we've already seen.
So, how is everyone enjoying their Valiant Universe Handbook then?

Re: FCBD: VALIANT UNIVERSE HANDBOOK
I have to say that I was a little disappointed in the Handbook. I've had so many questions about these characters and their abilities that I thought this would help me out some. Like do Harada and Peter have some sort of special healing abilities and how do they work, or is Harada's projection physical or telepathic. I'm kinda frustrated that I didn't learn anything new from the FCBD.

Re: FCBD: VALIANT UNIVERSE HANDBOOK
I just started a new thread about this, because I had forgotten we had a thread for this book. Just looked at the book today, and my thoughts:
We have an entry on General Redacted, who played a significant part in one arc, but seemed to be mostly a one-off character. While it could be that they just had a page to work with, I'll also note that there's no page for Timewalker, who I think we all expect will play a much bigger role in the universe going forward. So, thoughts? Might we be seeing a return of General Redacted? Could they be working on a Timewalker ongoing that they don't have all the pieces in place for, so don't want to include an entry that might be contradictory to what we'll see published?

I think you're onto something there plus anything A&A related can't help but be tongue in cheek when they get the chance so they did it in that goofy manner.kjjohanson wrote:I just started a new thread about this, because I had forgotten we had a thread for this book.
