We all know that Zatanna's first appearance was Hawkman #4, but what was the first book where she was on the cover? Google is being useless for me right now.

Atom 19 has her head in the lower left corner. Green Lantern 42 she is actually in the art on the cover. Here are the links;

BTW ComicbookDB is an awesome source for info. Think of it as IMDB but for comics. Took me about a minute to find this info.

I just typed Zatanna, then did a search for her appearances. After that I clicked the link that put them in chronological order and started looking at the covers starting with oldest first.

You know who I feel sorry for? Somewhere out there is a huge Zatara fan, who wants to own every appearance (easy enough, right? not much competition) who will never own the first.
