I can see that. I love it when he's using his brilliant intellect to defeat opponents (ala Thanos Quest & Annihilation)

Guy Gardner is my favorite comic book character of all time.

I happened across him, early in my collecting days, during the Crisis on Infinite Earths issues of the Green Lantern title. I followed him over to Legends, Justice League International, his solo series and everywhere he's appeared since.

As far as other DC characters, I mainly have a thing for the second string, sort of quirky ones like Blue Beetle, Booster Gold, Blue Devil and Firestorm.

My favorite Marvel Character is Iron Fist.

Also, a fan of Ghost Rider, Deathlok, Moon Knight, Darkhawk and yes, Deadpool!

I've always liked more of the obscure, second string type characters myself. There are so many good ones;

Moon Knight
Ghost Rider
Task Master
Thanos
Silver Surfer
Bullseye
Taskmaster
Solar
Bloodshot
Black Adam
Superboy Prime
Starboy
Braniac 5
Wildfire
Firestorm
Jonah Hex

There are also a lot of good one that have appeared in recent years,

Dr David Loren from Think Tank
Livewire
Ninjak the VEI version
Redmond from Thief of Thieves
Luke Taylor from Clone

But I have to say my two favorite all time for nostalgia sake have to be

Rom Spaceknight
and
Vigilante, the Marv Wolfman George Perez character that debuted in Teen Titans Annual #2

Great call on ROM Spaceknight!

I was a big fan of the character when I was younger. About 15 years ago, I bought the entire run off of an eBay auction, as well as an original art page.

I see Ghost Rider appearing on a number of our lists. Has anyone here tried out the new series? I took one look at the cover and unfortunately had to pass.

I always go back to the New Warriors. But individual ones would be Nova and Speedball.
My problem is, whenever I read a new title and really enjoy it, that character briefly becomes my new favorite.
Love Bats, and Supes.
Iron Fist, Daredevil, Animal Man, Invincible....
And I was more of a Hard Case guy than a Prime guy :P

I was a big Ultraverse fan when it came out, but I haven't re-read any of it to see if it holds up. I do remember Firearm far exceeding my expectations. (I was expecting a Punisher ripoff, but James Robinson delivered something much better.)
If you're not a *SQUEE*, you're okay with me.

Hard Case holds up better than Prime. Hard Case was written for an older audience.

I've never actually read an Ultraverse comic. Although maybe I did read Night Man before because that seems really familiar :hm:

Not gonna lie.... I had them all. Strangers, Exiles, Sludge, Firearm, Prototype, Night Man, Prime, Hard Case. Were there more initially? Had a bunch. Now, they make good fire tinder.

Mantra, but that was mostly cheesecake.

Rune, Solution, Solitaire, Warstrike and Wrath. There is a checklist in the DU section.

I have an obscene amount of Ultraverse too, Exiles being a particular favorite due to the shocking ending. Lots of good stuff in there, but too much too fast I think led to the downfall of the universe.
