hardcovers?
Is there an A&A hardcover out or solicited (VEI, not VH1)?
Aside from X-O and Harby 1 are there any others out there or solicited?

I expect a Shadowman HC, too, with #0-12. After that, I'm not sure if they will continue them or not.Phoenix8008 wrote:http://www.amazon.com/Archer-Armstrong- ... +hardcover Pre-order from Amazon available.400yrs wrote:Is there an A&A hardcover out or solicited (VEI, not VH1)?

I certainly hope they do more of them. Otherwise, why call them 'Volume 1'?BugsySig wrote:I expect a Shadowman HC, too, with #0-12. I imagine you put out a Volume 1 in case sales are decent enough to justify a Volume 2.Phoenix8008 wrote:I certainly hope they do more of them. Re: hardcovers?
So far, I've shied away from their hardcovers just for financial reasons, although I may ask for some for Christmas.
But, I really like the Harbinger Wars hardcover idea they've put out there, because it collects all the issues in sequential order. I'll probably break down and ask for that one from my local comic shop. Or, maybe wait until next fall, when my job starts up again, and order it off amazon. It sounds like a really nice hardcover.

For my Valiant: Kindle Worlds stories, check out my amazon author central page, http://www.amazon.com/Richmond-West/e/B ... 204&sr=8-1" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Sort by price low to high, and the Valiant Kindle Worlds stories will pop to the top.

Has anyone picked up the Bloodshot HC yet?
Mine is on order and I am curious about the special features.

Re: hardcovers?
I got the XO deluxe HC for free for a fan art Friday submission - I probably wouldn't have one otherwise as they are pricey, even though I do think they are a very good value for what you get. I must say, it's a gorgeous book, and all the extras are really great.bamaphilosopher wrote:So far, I've shied away from their hardcovers just for financial reasons, although I may ask for some for Christmas.But, I really like the Harbinger Wars hardcover idea they've put out there, because it collects all the issues in sequential order. Re: hardcovers?
In today's Archer & Armstrong, there is an ad for X-O, Harbinger, Bloodshot and A&A hardcovers.
At the bottom it says Harbinger Wars in May and Shadowman in October.

Re: hardcovers?
I might buy one today at my LCS, if they actually get one in. I've to date never seen one of the HCs at any of my LCSs.

I think the Bloodshot HC was scheduled for last week but previews listed it for today.

Check out Amazon or Instocktrades before you buy a copy at your LCS. Usually they are 35% off or more. I got the Bloodshot HC from DCBS for 50% off or $19.99!

The next month, DCBS had the A&A HC for 35% off cover.

Re: hardcovers?
Valiant Masters: H.A.R.D. Corps and Archer & Armstrong Deluxe were both solicited for April but missed the mark (even though they have been on the release schedule within Valiant's weekly emails). I hope HC doesn't go MIA like Eternal Warrior last year...

Re: hardcovers?
My Amazon order for Valiant Masters: H.A.R.D. Corps shipped today.
Take a look at the cover via InStockTrades- odd choice regarding the low cropping
http://www.instocktrades.com/TP/Valiant ... /FEB141483" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
So excited for this release so they could have released it with Howard the Duck on the cover and I'd still be just as excited

Re: hardcovers?
I have the Bloodshot HC, it comes with the usual concept art, page art development, and some panel by panel page narratives. Does anyone have any input on if the Bloodshot Masters is worth picking up for the new story? Can't justify buying the hardcovers with the same content I already have just for a few new pages of story.

Re: hardcovers?
I myself am a big fan of these Deluxe Hardcovers. I have the X-O and Harbinger. AA is next for me. Got them all through Amazon, for around $25 apiece. Love the larger pages, and extra material. Plus, they look lovely on my bookshelf. Wife hates it, but oh well!
