Good place to purchase Valiant comics and bags

Post by Kino »

Hello folks!

I have been out the loop on comics for about 6 years and its time to buy some new bags and boards. Whats the best ones to get and where from? Also while Valiant books may not be worth much, I am looking to complete some of my collection specifically X-o, Eternal Warrior and Solar, along with Archer and Armstrong. Any help would be appreciated.

Not worth much...?

Have you checked out eBay lately? I just sold 20 Valiant books & got over $600.00 for them.

Well I am looking at ebay and there is a HUGE lot of X-Os for 40.00 but I only need a few issues(less than 10 issues). I'm not looking for variants and if i have to, I'll buy the lots but I rather just buy the handful I need which would probably be cheaper for me. I was hoping there was a shop that hand some sitting on the shelves but I'll see as I do more searching.

Since you're not looking for the harder-to-find variants...
you could post a "want list" with the particular issues you need
on these boards. Lots of guys around here have extra copies
of the regular issues... and could probably put together a nice set
to meet your needs. If you're not concerned with absolute perfect condition,
you can probably pick up most of the X-O, Eternal Warrior,
and Archer & Armstrong books for under $1 each including shipping.

Welcome to the boards!

Bags & Boards

Welcome to the board! As far as where to buy bags and boards besides your local comicshop, I like the products at Bags Unlimited - www.bagsunlimited.com . They have resealable comic bags and acid-free boards for reasonable prices.

You can post a list of the Valiant issues you need to complete your collection. I am sure you will get a lot of responses.

I hope this helps,
Al

Thanks folks for the responses!

I'll definitely be checking out the links you all posted. I'm pretty simple when it comes to collecting, I prefer the "normal issues" versuses variants.
