Yay for my LCS

So after i paid for my comics this evening, the clerk asked me which i liked the best: Shadowman, Eternal Warrior, or X-O manowar. I was kind of confused why he asked but since EW has been my favorite character since the 90's it was an easy answer (Eternal Warrior obviously). So she pills out a box from behind the counter, digs around a bit, and hands me a brand spankin new Eternal Warrior #1 Gold (free). He actually wasn't sure how the store got them, just that he should hand them (I am assuming they were other golds or promo's) out to the "Valiant guys."

Honestly i don't interact too much with the guys running the store because it seems mainly focused on gaming, but with that one small move they earned a ton of loyalty. :thumb:

That was one of the freebies at the ComicsPro weekend in Atlanta. Valiant gave those to retailers. Also, Rai shot glasses :-)
