In the old VH1 'Sting' died since Pete lost his powers after a battle with Harada. He later reappeared as the Harbinger and Visitor. I hope they dont mimic this death. At the time it was cool, but its been done.
I think Kris would make the most sense. It could really bring the team even closer and Pete can finally step up and be the leader he was meant to be.

Well robots don't have anatomy, so without reproductive organs, how do you define male/female.

Tekla was female, for sure.

I'll note that Kris is the only Renegade not on that cover. :hm:

You think that's Peter on the cover?

And perhaps that's flamingo but I don't know how she would be flying like that - if she flies it would be with the use of flames

Larosa is a good artist but sometimes he draws characters much different than the normal look

Torque and Faith are for sure there

We also have to consider that they have at times commissioned these covers before the story leading up to it has been set and finalized - and it's possible the cover could be altered.
Ha! Yeah! Nice! Any of those dudes in your head mosh?! - Flamingo

Neither Pete nor Kris are on the cover. Lewis draws Peter as more fit - that is one of the Gen Zero kids. I do think that is Flamingo despite the lack of flames - with that red hair and body type, it fits.

Well, killing Pete would be really, really stupid. The original Valiant Harbinger run lost all direction, IMO, when they didn't have Sting.

I have a bad feeling it's Flamingo. I hate that because she's one of my favorite characters. I sincerely hope I'm wrong. I love having a southern girl and former stripper in the title.

If one of them has to die, I'd vote for Kris. But I don't like the idea of her dying either. But I'd rather her than Flamingo.

Faith I don't see, because she's always the heart and soul of the title. And Torque, it's been done (though I wish it were him instead of Flamingo).

Man, I hope it's not Flamingo. Sigh. I hope I'm wrong but I have a bad feeling it's her.

Actually, the more I think about it, Kris's death would have more resonance...since Pete dragger her in and she didn't have powers. I think story-wise, you could get a lot more mileage out of that than Flamingo's death, which would just be a "let's kill somebody" kind of death. I don't know, maybe it's because I hope Flamingo doesn't die, but it just seems that Kris's death would have more impact and story power to me. But, then again, I wasn't the one who made the decision. :)

I mean that giant Kirby robot is just *SQUEE*, the rock guy is cool, the red cyborg thingy looks neat and the presumably skinny female cyborg thing looks cool too. But that thing flying with faith? Eh, reminds me of general grievous from Star Wars attack of the clones. Anyone else think the armor hunters are from the future? Perhaps why a robot would join these sentient beings. We know robots are rare in the 4001 wastelands of EW, could that be a result of an XO armor anihilating robots in the future? Could they be traveling to the past to decimate the 1 or few XO's that exist before more are "born" ala Terminator?
I love that everyone is referring to it as the Kirby robot. I'm not completely impressed with the Doomsday with rock candy mallet.
If you're not a *SQUEE*, you're okay with me.

I think you need to re-read Harbinger #6. In no way did Pete drag her in, unless you're referring to his initial *SQUEE* with her.

And then there's her commentary "Two days ago I had nothing but hatred and wreckage in my life. Now I've got a flying girl and a *SQUEE* god who's desperate for my approval. And that means I've got something so very few people in this world really have… that means I've got power."

She knows what she's getting into.
If you're not a *SQUEE*, you're okay with me.

No cleavage = not Flamingo

I think she's the Renegade on the chopping block. Maybe Kris and Pete aren't here because Pete is off blaming himself (perhaps rightly so) for her death, and Kris is trying to get his head screwed on straight.
If you're not a *SQUEE*, you're okay with me.

Not to beat a dead horse, but can it be Animalia? Do we know it's one of the core group?

Of course she was. She was originally W-23. Although I will agree that her character bio has her gender listed as 'other'.

What I find very cool is that, at this point, we REALLY DON'T KNOW who death is going to come for yet! And we probably won't know until the issue hits the stands! The fact that it is so open to possibly being multiple team members, is awesome. It's not so obvious who will be killed that we all just know it already. It's not telegraphed like that. I find that to be really cool, regardless of who ends up biting the bullet. I'll be sad to see anyone of the team be killed off, but I can't wait to see who it is and how it happens.

She did have Elzy fix her up with certain lifelike enhancements during the Future Force run but as I recall, these enhancements were still 100% robotic.

I have been wondering if Elzy is owned by VEI and if she could appear in the Rai stories.
