[Olympics Spoiler]

Valiant will have something to brag about, as Erin Hamlin just became the first American to win a singles luge medal at the Winter Olympics. She won a bronze.

I was very disappointed tonight when I saw that the luge team was not wearing the XO uniforms. I watched the Olympics tonight just to see them. I assume VEI must not be too happy either.

Due to strict restrictions, as well as the style code of all country athletes, uniforms in the Olympics have to be different from what may have been used outside of Olympic competition.

Sadly, the X-O suits were only for trials or something before the actual Olympics. They were never planned to be worn during the Olympics. However, the suits the USA Luge team are wearing were designed by Valiant. They just can't use the X-O suit due to the strict rules.

I understand, its very intimidating to think of the extra skill & co-ordination required to perform professional level sports on ice & snow. Not every country can excel as we do. Deal with it as you see fit. :kidaround:

Wait, how many Canadian players are on all those US teams that have won cups since then? And how many cups does that one Canadian team have, that won in '93?

But I digress... this is a chat about the winter olympics. Now, how many times has Canada won gold in olympic hockey... and the US has won... :hm: :poke:
